Birth of HAZRAT MUHAMMAD (PBUH).

Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was born on 12th Rabi’ al-Awwal in the year 570 CE in the city of Mecca, which is located in modern-day Saudi Arabia. His father’s name was Abdullah and his mother’s name was Aminah.

According to tradition, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) was born into the tribe of Quraysh. His father died before he was born, and his mother passed away when he was just six years old. After his mother’s death, he was raised by his grandfather, Abdul Muttalib, who also passed away when he was still young.

Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) began working as a trader when he was a teenager, travelling to various parts of the Arabian Peninsula. He was known for his honesty and integrity and was given the nickname of “Al-Sadiq Al-Amin” (The Truthful and Trustworthy).

At the age of 25, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) married a wealthy widow named Khadijah. Their marriage was a happy one, and she became his first convert to Islam. When he was 40 years old, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) received the first revelation of the Quran from Allah through the angel Gabriel while he was in the cave of Hira.

Thus began the prophethood of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) – a period that transformed the Arabian Peninsula and brought about the Islamic faith.
